The Rube Goldberg machine

As Motionographer say 'The Rube Goldberg machine is a reoccurring gimmick in advertising'. This may be true, but they take a lot of effort to make, and I still believe they are some of the most interesting adverts around....ones that actually capture my attention and not make me wander off to make a cuppa.

'A Rube Goldberg machine, contraption, invention, device, or apparatus is a deliberately over-engineered or overdone machine that performs a very simple task in a very complex fashion, usually including a chain reaction. The expression is named after American cartoonist and inventor Rube Goldberg'

Here are some great adverts and other videos which use a Rube Golderberg machine.
