My Name is Boffer Bings

The making of

'Laszlo Csaki's brand new chalk animated short is based on Ambrose Bierce's grotesque novel, Oil of Dog.

The thrilling story of Boffer Bings (aka Martin), is set in a village, where his father manages a lucrative dog-oil producing factory. The film is the eternal tale of greed and obsession with success is told with dark humour and actualized for our contemporary society in a shape of thriller.

The animation is product is the product of years of meticulous work of László Csáki who drawn each image by hand with a white chalk on a black board. These images digitally dimesionalised to create an extraordinary visual world where he could play with depth of field and camera angles, but still keeping the handdrawn feel.

Coming in 2013!'

This is great animation, with clever tricks to show perspective. And a great how it's made video as well. See more on
